A bit more about Nicola..

Nicola O'Haire

Nicola began her training in Ballet and Speech and Drama at the age of 6 with All Stars Academy of Performing Arts. In 2007 she was an orphan in a West End production of Annie in The Royal Theatre Castlebar.

Through her teenage years she has been leading roles in musicals such as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Sarah Browne in Guys & Dolls, Donkey in Shrek the Musical and many more.

In the two years of attending The Mayo Vocal Academy she received a High Achievers Award for singing from The Royal Irish Academy of Music.

She has performed on stage as a backing vocalist for Russell Watson in renowned theaters such as The Waterfront Theatre/ Ulster Hall in Belfast, The National Opera House in Wexford and The Bord Gais Energy Theatre in Dublin.

She is an ensemble vocalist on the recording of Scorn Not His Simplicity, featuring Deirdre Masterson and the students of American College Dublin that went to No.1 in the world genre iTunes Charts.

Through Nicola’s college years, she has played roles such as: ‘Natalie’ in the play Mosquitoes by Lucy Kirkwood, ‘Maggie’ in ‘A Chrous Line’ and ‘Cinderella’ in ‘Into The Woods’.

A current project for Nicola was the ‘Castle-Lake Arts Festival’ held in Co. Wexford. She performed as an actor and featured singer at the event, playing Hermia & Quince in the Shakespearean play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

Nicola’s most recent project is currently working on a brand new single release with world renowned songwriter, Brendan Graham.
